Pilots always seek to learn and practice all the emergencies that usually happen during a flight; this is because many things can happen every time you take off that if done quickly and efficiently, the result would be almost perfect, where the importance is not the numbers but the lives that can be saved. It is for all this that pilots carry out simulators every year, where emergencies that cannot be practiced in the real plane are practiced every day; this is due to the operating costs and the problems that can occur when performing all the basic maneuvers.

The Simulators

Before flying in a simulator, you must always learn many things, which is why to be a pilot you must study a lot, many would say what you need to know if you only have to learn to take off and land, but it is not like that, to be able to fly you must first know all the implications that airplanes have, from the principles of aeronautics to meteorology.

The pilot must always know how the aircraft works since when taking off, the only way to land again is to reliably know all the aspects of the aircraft, from how speed, height, or different meteorological changes can affect its flight. They also have to know the procedures used to land, from the communications, the speeds, and the directions to be taken.

Although many of the procedures are written, you must first know how to read them, in addition to when to do it; this happens because at the time of the flight, or emergency you must be aware and have the speed to decipher the letters that will help in knowing how to communicate or know all the necessary procedures to achieve landing.

The technology

Although everyday technology improves airplanes, the pilot must always be in front of the aircraft, that is a saying that is always said to the pilot, this is due to the speed of the flight since when you fly you must always prepare everything before it happens or before the point of use, since if it is done at the wrong time it can have great consequences that can cause loss of time, money or the worst consequence an accident.

Planning

The pilot must always plan the flight from the ground, and that is why flight plans are made; which must be delivered to the state bodies to take into account where the aircraft will be at all times, but for this, you must know the plane and all its characteristics, so the flight always starts long before getting on the plane, lack of fuel, take-off during bad weather or simply with problems in the aircraft can lead to an accident with fatal consequences; such as they say it is one profession where lack of knowledge can cause not only the fatality of other people but the pilot himself.

The study before everything. After doing all this, the pilot must know the cockpit, many pilots before getting into a cockpit, whether of a simulator or the real cockpit of the plane, study the location of all the instruments and buttons; this is because time counts at all times so that it does not take long to carry out the necessary procedures to start or stop the aircraft, which have specific steps, as we have emphasized, they are always done in the performed when it has already been demonstrated that the pilot can perform them and safely.

What do you think of this topic? Do you think it is important to do flight simulators?
